The Swedish National Netball League to start in 2023. Register your team
For the first time in history Netball Sweden will have a national league where different clubs will play each other in three different formats. Our major aim is to encourage participation and competition among our clubs as we build capacity to have healthy growing clubs.
- Clubs will visit each other on a home and away basis.
- Clubs will meet together in tournaments and play a number of games which means that every club will benefit from each tournament they participate in. A club can lose a tournament but will get points for their participation in the league.
- Friendly games/training matches that are registered and played under the Netball Sweden arrangements will also be considered to carry some points for the participating teams.
The league will also encourage participation of youths to build sustainability and to help build youth teams that will participate in the Youth league in future.

The two sessions spread in the todays attracted over 50 participants who were taken through both theory and practical sessions to help them embrace the role of netball in building teamwork. It was realised that many of the teachers struggle with building teamwork in their work with students, they saw Netball as a solution to the pressing challenge as the game will not only help them to teach a new game but also to build a competence that can be used in other areas of the student’s life.
